Fruit Crisp

This crisp works well with a variety of fresh or fresh and frozen fruit combined.

For the crumble topping:

  • 1/3 c butter
  • 1/2 c brown sugar
  • 1/2 c flour
  • 1/2 c oats
  • 1 1/2 t grated lemon peel
  • 1/2 t nutmeg

For fruit mixture:

  • 1/2 c sugar (less or more depending on how sweet the fruit is)
  • 2 T cornstarch
  • 4 c sliced fruit
  • 1/8 t cloves
  • dash cardamon

Combine sugar, cornstarch, cloves, cardamon, then mix with fruit. Place fruit mixture into a 8 1/2 X 11 inch buttered baking dish.

Top with crumble mixture

Bake at 350 degrees for 40 -45 minutes.
