Chicken Adobo

Super easy to make!

  • 2 lb chicken
  • 4 cloves crushed garlic
  • ½ c vinegar
  • ¼ t pepper
  • ¼ c soy sauce
  • 2-3 bay leaves
  • ½ c water
  • 1-2 T brown sugar

Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Cover and bring to boil. Simmer for about 45-60 minutes or until chicken is cooked. Uncover and simmer for another 15 minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened and chicken is lightly browned.

Serve warm with white rice.
