Mixed Greens and Fig Salad

Orange vinaigrette

  • juice of 1 orange
  • 1 T sweet white wine
  • 3 T red wine vinegar
  • 3 T nutritional yeast flakes
  • ½ t sea salt
  • 1 T tamari soy sauce
  • 2 T olive oil

Whisk all together.

Salad

  • 2 regular oranges
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 cup fresh figs or dried calimyrna figs, sliced into thin wedges
  • ¼ cup red onion finely sliced
  • one large package of mixed greens

Toss with vinaigrette.
